Dontai joined the Hippie Hounds crew in July 2021 and has been making pups (and people) smile ever since. Although this job is his first in the dog grooming industry, Dontai has been around dogs his whole life, starting with his first pup at 8 years old. A family member who’s a longtime customer pointed him our way, and it turned out to be the perfect fit.

Speed is definitely Dontai’s superpower. He’s quick on his feet (and with the hose), but never sacrifices quality. Dontai is all about teamwork and good communication, making sure everyone’s on the same page so things run smoothly.

At home, Dontai enjoys the company of his energetic Lab mix, Ruby, and three laid-back guinea pigs: Jinx, Pancake, and Clementine. When Dontai isn’t at work, you’ll likely find him crocheting, painting, or expressing himself through another creative outlet.
