With our team of experts on your side, you can expect a high-quality groom executed with an even higher standard of health and safety practices for your dog, no matter her breed, size, age, or behavior, every time.

Three professional dog groomers, Amanda, Anna, and Aaron (aka The A-Team) with 21 years of experience, established Hippie Hounds Dog Grooming & Self-Wash in 2016. All having started their dog grooming careers at PetSmart, the three crossed paths over the years and connected on their shared dedication to dogs.

A team of dog grooming experts with 21 years of professional experience.

They had seen too many instances of low-quality care that prioritized the dog groomer’s efficiency while subjecting the dog to long-term health and safety hazards. Understanding that the issue was rooted in most salons being owned and operated by people who don’t have professional grooming experience, The A Team aligned on their mission: create a dog grooming business owned and operated by professionals with extensive experience that only uses the best, all-natural products and gentle dog-friendly processes. As soon as a location was available, Amanda, Anna, and Aaron seized the opportunity and spent every last dollar they had to bring their dream to life.

With your dog at the center of every single thing we do, we’ve established a new normal for dog grooming. Our amazing professional grooming team of dog lovers works together to perform all grooming in stages and maintain a 1:1 human-to-dog ratio at all times. Rather than each groomer having a separate schedule, we take an all-hands-on-deck approach to ensure that your dog is comfortable and given the undivided and personalized attention he deserves.

We treat every dog as an individual and lean on our decades of experience to tailor our services to their unique needs. Regular grooming is an essential healthcare practice for your dog as the state of her coat impacts her whole health and can even be an indicator of certain conditions. This truth is taken very seriously at Hippie Hounds and woven into every operation and apparatus — from our coat-enhancing and plant-based shampoos/conditioners to our by-hand blow-drys and desensitization techniques.
