A word from our co-owner and CFO, Aaron: "Juneteenth isn`t just a federally recognized holiday to me. It`s a celebration of my family`s roots, a moment to remember how far we`ve come, and a reminder to be proud of who I am."
As a proud Black-owned small business, the whole Hippie Hounds family stands with Aaron in celebrating this hard-won freedom—one that far too many never got to know. We honor those who fought for equality, and we stand with all who continue that fight today. 🐾

If you’ve ever wondered why we slip this guy (the Happy Hoodie) on your doggo, it’s for a few reasons.
1️⃣ Most importantly, it helps keep dogs calm during the blow-drying process.
2️⃣ When used properly, the Happy Hoodie flips the ears down to push on the ear canal, reducing noise.
3️⃣ It reduces air blowing into their ears (which most dogs are, obviously, sensitive to).
Measures like these go a long way in helping dogs feel comfortable during grooming, which helps them learn to trust us and the process. Our top priority is always your pup’s safety and comfort, taking every measure necessary because she deserves nothing less.
