Hippie Hounds is the only place I will trust with my dog Britney Spears. The team are all knowledgeable, friendly and so thoughtful with each dog's needs. I have been coming here since getting my dog 5 years ago and can't recommend them enough! There is a reason the win the "Best in the PNW" award year over year. My dog is treated like a queen and leaves with extra pep in her step after her "spa day" as I call it. We keep all of the scarves she gets after the spa, she loves them! Thank you Hippie Hounds!

Excellent nail trim. I tried the walk-in nail trim for my puppy. I like how they do trims here — One person had a nice cuddly hold of my dog so he felt secure, and a second person did the trim with the Dremel file tool. It was all very fast and my puppy tolerated the whole thing well. Everyone was very friendly and kind, including the other customers. We will definitely come back again.
Wow! The crew at Hippie Hounds is AMAZING! We drove from Alaska to ship our car to Hawaii and they managed to fit us in. Our dog is ANXIOUS and they were so kind and very obviously treated him with love and kindness and respect. He was panting at the end but very easily calmed down (not the norm when he is anxious). I was so worried because his groomer in Alaska is a single shop, but honestly this might have been a better set up for him. We walked by and saw THREE people attending to him at one point, someone just to help calm and cuddle him. Not to mention, he looks AMAZING. Truly I have never seen him look so perfect! He gets an all over cut and it was perfectly even, not a hair out of place. He was so smooth?! Fluffy?? They said it was conditioner! Wow! They asked about illnesses and allergies and temperament. Truly a 5 star (more if I could) business! One of the owners even remembered we are moving and asked us about it at the end. WOW! Highly recommend, especially anxious pup parents!
I took my dog in for a walk in self-clean today and was extremely satisfied with the overall setup and experience. We were given a quick rundown of the setup and equipment and provided with shampoo and conditioner that met my dogs needs (we like unscented shampoos). They even offer to trim your dogs nails as an additional service and you get a small discount on the overall price. They dremeled my dogs claws while I waited and all told I was done in ~20 minutes for a very fair price.
Did great with my dog! He wasn't nervous when I dropped him off or picked him up. He looks great and is super clean, they did wonderfully!
