Sallie has been in the dog grooming world for almost 10 years and joined Hippie Hounds in August 2022. She started at a corporate salon, where she learned almost everything she knows about dog behavior and how to make grooming feel safe and fun for every pup. Over the years, Sallie has fallen in love with the little moments, like seeing a nervous dog start to relax or giving a puppy their very first haircut.

Sallie's Journey
Having found her way to Hippie Hounds when she needed to be closer to her kids, Sallie instantly knew it was the right move. The supportive team, the happy dogs, and the positive energy made her feel right at home.
Sallie loves doing outline trims and has a soft spot for puppies. She’s always looking for ways to learn, grow, and help dogs feel comfortable from the moment they step through the door.

Outside of work, she’s a proud dog mom to Zym, a Golden Retriever and Australian Kelpie mix named after her daughter’s favorite dragon. When she’s not at the shop, Sallie enjoys staying active, spending time with her family, and finding something delicious to eat.
